What is your best meatball recipe?

hi...looking for a meatball recipe that goes good w/ brown gravy..my mom used to make this all the time. i haven't had it since she ped. my meat will never compare to hers..they are very basic and boring. so if all you good cooks out there could help me out that would be awesome..please no mushrooms!!!!!!
