ARGH Nobody will answer my very relevant question?

I'm talking about my little cousin Ryan. He is ten years old (almost eleven) and I see him several times a year. My family was visiting Chicago to see him and our other relatives. Well, Ryan is a very cute little kid. thick blondish-brown hair, olive skin, big brown eyes. Adorable. He's also extremely (And I mean extremely) ticklish. Until christmas eve, i'd only ever given him the occasional tummy tickle or poke in the sides but on that day I attacked his feet on several occasions and held him down and tickled him all over to get him to answer my questions (which were stupid, random questions about himself). Now, Ryan is a fatherless child. He used to live with both parents but his dad was very abusive to him and his mom and the mother left him after his dad broke a few of Ryan's ribs in a drunken rage. Now he just lives with his mom and hasn't seen his dad since he was six. (for some reason, Ryan's mother never tickles him and the poor kid didn't know he had ticklish feet until I attacked him but that's not really important). Anyway, Ryan told me on fb chat recently that he can't stand being tickled and not to do it to him. It could be that he just doesn't like being tickled but I'm worried that holding him down and getting physical could possibly bring up some bad memories. he seemed okay but i know his mom is very protective and wouldn't approve of my tickling him like that. Is there really any coolant additive that fixes a blown head gasket?

I am 90% sure I blew my head gasket in my 92 ford explorer last weekend towing a heavy camper with low coolant. My truck has a rough idle and I am starting to see white spots in my oil. I have seen some head gasket fixing additives in auto stores but do any actually work. I changed the heads and gaskets once already when i bought the truck so I know how big of a pain they are but the auto store at the time said they had some $50 additive that would work. Mixed Signals Making It Confusing?

How do i throw with more velocity?

I play for my JV baseball team in my highschool. Last year on the Freshman team I did pretty good but I did not throw hard at all. When I pitch I'm good at putting it in location so I made the team. This year my arm was hurting and I was throwin like 40 mph on JV which is not good what so ever. Our first game they put me in and my arm did not hurt for the first time in a while. I had gotten my speed back up to about 55 but I was only in for 3 batters I got them out 1-2-3 so my coaches are happy with me now but if I want to make varsity and prove myself on JV I need to throw harder and faster. I'm left handed so I have a little bit of an advantage and my ball has what they call the lefty curve. I want to be able to throw harder and be very effective. I'm generally a reliever now in h.s. but I was a starter all my life and I want to get back to that

This would be a case against the pharmacy, the pharmacists, and the tech's and store manager I would think. He was prescribed the the single dose of Septra of 80/400 BID, Saturday's and Sunday's every week as a profylatic, but was give the correct times/days/how often, but the wrong dosage of the double strength which is 800/160. Do I have a case? The only symptoms he has had is severe joint pain, diarahrea and nausea. Does he have a chance at pain and suffering as well? What dollar amount could he get? What attorney should I get for the Indianapolis area of Indiana? Any advice?

I just started dating this guy a couple months ago. My son is suffering from bullies and is an undiagnosed dyslexic. I recognized this because I'm dyslexic and I see the same signs that I had in him. I have an appointment for testing but its not until Jan. (And GA doesn't recognize dyslexia.) Consequently, he is suffering from REAL emotional stress. He has emotional outburst and anger issues. His teacher is ignoring the bullies and the school system is ignoring the learning disability. I have repeatably met with the principal and the teachers for the last few years to resolve the situation and yet my son is falling farther and farther behind. I feel like he is being ped along and his learning disability ignored. I sent them an exceptionally bright child who liked school; I now have a child who come home choked one the bus, a tooth knocked out, who thinks he's an idiot and hates school. They seem unfased when I threaten to sue them. I am at a loss as to how to deal with these people.........How do you make them do their jobs. Lately, I have been sick, and dealing with a lot of phlegm when I cough as well. The best advice I have been given about this has been to spit the phlegm in a tissue when it comes up (instead of swallowing it, which makes things worse), or spit it in the toilet. I have been doing so for the past four days, and even though I am feeling better, I can honestly say that it was a horrible experience. The researchers also compared carbon isotope ratios in fossil soil taken from directly above and below the Toba ash in three locations in central India — some 3,000 miles from the volcano — to pinpoint the type of vegetation that existed at various locations and time periods. The tests revealed a distinct change in the type of vegetation in India immediately after the Toba eruption. Here's what happened; my friend came over to my house for a sleep-over (yes, he's a boy) and my other guy friend was there, and the two of them hugged each other as a greeting while my mom and I were watching. It wasn't a big deal to me because we're all good friends but my mom got really angry and pulled me aside and told me not to let them do that. Are my Monoxide detectors faulty?

Hi, tonight I was awoken by my uncle and he claimed the Monoxide detectors had been going off, he brought one up to where I live and sure enough it was around 213 and 800+ of levels. I'm not EXACTLY sure if this was a Monoxide detector but it kept blinking *GAS* *GAS* *GAS*. He plugged the one that detected it into our wall upstairs. I went downstairs and all windows and fans where open/on, no reports of dizziness except for mine(Up all night making sure everyones OK). We have a total of about 4 of those detectors. We plugged the one we brought upstairs into the wall downstairs and oddly... the same one beeped an hour later. But it read the level was 0 but *GAS* so we turned it off thinking it might be faulty and anyone who was in a room with the detector is still fine... the other 2 detectors didn't go off, however. ( 2 of them went off with a level of 0 and blinking *GAS*) but I'm wondering if there's a worry or if we got a faulty one.

Why Am I being Called A Bad Mom?

My daughter is 14 months old i am a stay at home mom I spend all day with my daughter except when she takes naps which is when i clean house and i have my "quiet time" When we go out if my daughter misbehaves i warn her and if she continues i pop her not hard at all but just to let her know she is being bad. thats what around 42kg? yeah, i highly doubt it and if so it will be minor, if you do have excess skin and it troubles you then you can have a minor operation to have it removed. This is more for people who lose larger amounts of weight but it is better to have excess skin than to be over weight, think about it.

On a scale of 1-10, how bad is a colonoscopy without anesthia?

I've isted with colonoscopies, and seen them use everything from an intravenous anethesia, to sedation, to nothing at all. I think most folks do best with slight sedation, because the procedure is uncomfortable at best and there are often cramps. Most usually folks opt for the sedation, and they sort of drift in and out, but they do respond when spoken to- they aren't out of it by any means. I certainly think it's something worth speaking to the doctor about, to see what he thinks and how he feels about doing it with no anesthesia, if that's really how you want to handle it. They will still start an IV, as a precaution in case something goes wrong and they need to do surgery. Although it doesn't happen often, there is the risk that the bowel will be punctured or simply tear in a weak spot. And that of course means surgery, right then. Since the iv is already in place, if you do decide at some point that you really would like a little something, they can always provide it. At least that's how it's done in our hospital- can't speak for the ones in Florida. Most folks who have it done are out the door in about 3 hours, moving slowly but moving. The procedure itself only takes about 40-45 minutes, but of course with sedation you have to hang around until you do the usual- go to the bathroom, have a drink and get back on your feet. Most folks are also starving by that point, since you will have been on a more or less liquid diet for about 3 days before, and take a laxative the day before- your system is pretty empty and your stomach is wondering if you had your teeth pulled. Some folks get crampy for a few hours afterwards, big surprise there, huh? But it's nothing they need pain medications for, and if you have a good tolerance it shouldn't be a problem for you either. If you were just having a sigmoidoscopy, I'd say sedation wouldn't even have to be a consideration, but the colonoscopy is just a tad more invasive- going the full length of the large intestine covers quite a bit of distance. There are a lot of sedatives they can use, Demerol being one that comes to mind, that perhaps might make things more tolerable for you. But just discuss your options with the doctor, because that's who you have to trust no matter which way you choose to go.

How do I discipline my 5 year old daughter?

She's an angel at school, and as soon as I pick her up, it's like she's a complete different child! It’s as if all her aggressions build up at school all day long, and then she takes it out on me, my husband and 7 yr old daughter. Run your frozen meat under the faucet in warm water to separate it into pieces. Then microwave the meat. You can use the defrost setting, but that will take longer. If you put it on high, it will be faster but just make sure it doesnt start to cook is all. Also, If you put it in a pot of water to boil you can drop it in frozen and it won't take very long to cook through. I don't know about most other countries, but isn't it ironic that third world countries seem to value and appreciate education way more than those countries were education is free until college and extremely accessible. It seems to me today if children, usually in middle to high school, are not forced into doing good they could truly care less about school and learning. I know of course there are those children that do respect what education can do for them, but it seems the majority of children these days just don't care. The drop-out rates are insane forcing government to act and put force on the districts and teachers, but this seems to make matters worse because it lowers the morales of hard working teachers who are being blamed for children's total disregard for what's being taught to them. I know there are exceptions- shitty teachers, learning disabilities, students who are trying but cannot comprehend, but I'm not talking about those situations, I'm talking about the hundred of kids I see each week that find school an obligation and don't even try in their cles, give teachers a hard time, and are bad influences on other students. These kids are becoming the majority. They are disrespectful to teachers and ruin school for everyone. So, I have to ask, do we as Americans truly appreciate the value of getting a good education?
