Ohhh.. that must of been so awkward. I was in a similar situation last Friday only it included a obese person. I was embarred but after thinking about it for some time I realized that I know that I didn't mean what they thought that I meant so my conscience was clear..though in your case an apologize or clarification of what you meant would be nice.
