Is the US trading away our liberties in the name of political correctness?
I'm speaking specifically about the TSA in this case. We have spent hundreds of millions on scanners that radiate us, spent more money on screeners that manhandle us, and made flying one of the worst experiences in modern day travel while feeling up nuns and kids with crutches. While in Israel, a country in the middle of hate, seems to get by quite well on profiling and other non-invasive techniques. Janet N of the TSA visited Israel recently to see how they do things, and said that none of it was helpful here in the states. So basically, millions of people put up with crap that still won't prevent a cavity bomb (no pun intended) in the name of not singling out a particular group of people. Are people really okay with this or do they just not realize why they have to submit to TSA techniques?
