My ex constantly lies. How do I tell him that I know hes lying and getting back in contact was a mistake?
This guy was my first love. (I shudder to think of it) He stole money from my family, he cheated on me, he never held onto a job, and was just an overall slime-ball. I was right to get rid of him. Since then, he's tried to apologize. But I told him that when I accepted his apology, I'd contact him and not to contact me until then. Well, I figured that 4 years was a long enough time to be mad and sent him an email. Ever since, he's been lying to me about pretty much anything and everything (He doesn't know that I still talk to his best friend.) He told me that he married a rich girl, and that he got married in the Caribbean. He told me that he owns 6 cars, 10 motorcycles, and an airplane. He also said he lives in a mansion and travels Europe every other month. And worst of all, he lied and said that he was a Naval Officer. I know for a FACT that this is not true. Not one bit of it. His friend (Who is reliable) told me that he is a pathological liar and doesn't have 2 dimes to rub together. How do I tell him that I know the truth and that it was a mistake to get back in contact with someone who needs to deceive me to feel better about himself?
