Would you say that this was appropriate/ inappropriate dress for a teacher at parents evening?

No it was not. Some of the Teachers in Todays Schools are not smart at all. They wear all kinds of inappropriate dress, and wonder why the kids do not like wearing Uniform.Some of them look worse than gypsies, so what hope have the children got of following suit.When I was at School which was a lot of years ago, we had to wear the Uniform, and all the Teachers wore Suits or Black/Navy Dress.In the Summer we had a dress code as well with Dresses all the same.In todays World some look like Film Stars with the makeup as well which also was taboo to us, It is all about competition today, and that makes situations very difficult to follow, in the fashion stakes. I pity the Mothers in todays climate and the prices of clothes.
